Step 2 — Choose Calculation Method (FPC 403.1.1)

Standard 50/50 split — divide total occupant load by 2 for each sex; potty parity may apply in Assembly.

Single-User (403.1.2) — fixtures can be single-user toilet rooms; lavatories are calculated equal to required WCs for simplicity.

All-Gender Multi-User (403.1.1 Exception #2) — use the 50/50 occupant split, calculate male and female fixture ratios separately as fractions, combine the fractions, then round the combined total up once.

Fractions are summed by occupancy group and rounded up per 403.1.1. Totals are displayed after you add your spaces and click Total All.
